Christmas in Seattle

We celebrated Christmas together here in Seattle. Having battled terrible colds for weeks leading up to the holidays, we decided to take it easy. We took a ferry to Bainbridge Island on Christmas Eve. There we browsed through a bookstore, bought a snowman-shaped cardamum bun, and braved windy weather. After about 20 throat lozanges apeice, we reborded a ferry home.

Christmas was a quiet affair. We drank sparkling cider in the morning while opening gifts from our families, and then went to Church. Our neighbors were around, and it was fun to spend our first Christmas together in our new home.
